The ambition of this web page is to coordinate and disseminate information about skills development, with main focus on the informal sector in the developing countries.

Hopefully the Skills Development Site will be a tool for exchanging information, visions, project ideas, technical drawings, suggestions and appropriate technology for those who are interested in adding to the development of the formal and informal sector.

The site should also function as a virtual work place where artisans, craftsmen and technicians in Denmark and the developing countries can meet to exchange plans and facts for mutual benefits.

New technology opens totally new opportunities for exchange of experiences, distance education and training. Use of new technology will therefore be an integrate part of coming projects related to skills development.
